Needle mat
Needle mat is a new reinforcing substrate for composite materials. It uses needle-punching technology to interlace glass fibers between layers, forming a 3D porous structure. It features outstanding mechanical and functional properties, divided into two main series by application:

1. Reinforcement Needled Mat
Made from chopped or continuous glass fibers via needle punching to form an interlaced 3D structure. It acts as reinforcement for GMT thermoplastic sheets and pultruded profiles, widely used in automotive and FRP industries.

2. Filtration & Thermal Insulation Needled Mat
Nonwoven fabric reinforced by needle punching with electronic-grade E-glass fiber. It boasts high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high porosity, and excellent air permeability, serving as a multifunctional material for filtration, heat preservation, thermal insulation, and sound absorption.

1. Uniform mechanical properties: Its 3D fiber layout reduces anisotropy and improves overall mechanical stability of finished products.
1. Superior heat insulation and flame resistance: Countless sealed micropores deliver low thermal conductivity of 0.019~0.031W/(m·K). Outperforms traditional rock wool in thermal efficiency; Class A1 fire rating, max temperature resistance up to 1200℃.
2. Stable chemistry & dimension: Resists strong acid and alkali without performance degradation; chloride ion ≤0.005%, no corrosion to metal equipment. High tensile strength, customizable cutting for complex construction.
2. Outstanding sound absorption: Porous structure absorbs over 90% sound wave to cut noise of machinery and vehicles.
3. Excellent interfacial bonding: Even fiber distribution when compounded with resin. Boosts interlayer bonding, shear resistance and impact strength for better mechanical performance in pultrusion.

Product Parameters

Each roll is wound on a 76 mm (3-inch) inner diameter paper core, fully wrapped in stretch film, stacked vertically or horizontally on pallets and re-wrapped with stretch film. Every roll carries a label listing specs, item code, roll weight, width, serial number and production date for full traceability; each pallet is also labeled with full traceability data.

 

For optimal performance, store fiberglass materials in cool, dry warehouses at 15℃–35℃ and 35%–65% RH. Keep away from heat and water to prevent damage and contamination. Use rolls promptly after unpacking. Repack unused material tightly and avoid open-air exposure to preserve shelf life.
